History
Located in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, Mereweather Preparatory School is an independent co-educational primary school established in 1967, with eleven enrolled nursery pupils. Since then, we have grown to a full primary school providing education from kindergarten to class 6.
Mereweather Preparatory School serves all Sierra Leone’s demographics. We are proud to have amongst our pupils, children who are the first generation to go to school. Mereweather continues to provide a strong educational foundation for all students, preparing them for their secondary school education, and to be productive citizens.
